The attempts to pass a national gay marriage act has lost what support the Democrats brought with them, and Barrack Obama has turned to John McCain to carry his legislation, since Harry Reid is depressed by his lack of ability to control the Senate, or even his own party. A cool Barrack Obama has lost support from the Move On Left, and the continuing economic downturn now has the country another 6 trillion dollars in debt, deflation has killed the economic growth, and programs are being cut in anticipation of worse to come. NBC has gone bankrupt, and has totally shut down the news division, the New York Times is a tabloid, and the bailout money given to the auto manufacturers has run out.
