The media has suppresed stories showing research about how damaging smoking marijuana is to the lungs, and how it will likely lead to cancer, and  various other disease.

Pot is popular among youth, so encouraging consumption by making it legal will create a new generation of smokers who will pay taxes, and die younger. Revenue, and a way to cut obligations to pay retirement benefits. What a concept.
